Download Messages From Webmail

Email messages can be downloaded from webmail, one hundred at a time. While this may not be optimal for downloading many thousands of messages, it is a way for you make copies of your emails before you delete them from webmail.

1. Log into webmail. Click here for instructions.
2. In webmail, click the folder that you wish to download messages from.
3. Click the checkbox (1) above the messages. This will select the first 100 messages.
4. Click the More (2) dropdown menu, and select Save message(s)(3).
   
   
   
5. Allow a moment for the download to start. 
6. Your selected messages download to your computer in a single .ZIP file.
7. Click the download icon (1) in your browser, then click the folder (2) to view the downloaded file location. (Your download icon and folder may look different than the screenshot below.)
   
8. Save the downloaded .ZIP file in a safe place on your computer.
9. If needed, right-click (or double click) on the downloaded .ZIP file to extract the messages. Each email will be a single .EML file.
10. Repeat steps b through i above to download more messages if needed.
11. Once you have downloaded the .ZIP files and confirmed that you have saved them in a safe location on your computer, optionally return to webmail, select, and then delete the messages within webmail.
