Expunge Deleted Messages From Webmail

When messages are deleted in webmail, they continue to consume disk space until they are purged nightly at around midnight.

The webmail expunge feature can be used to manually clear deleted email messages at any time.

The expunge feature only clears messages that have already been deleted. This can be useful if you are in a hurry to free up webmail space that is being consumed by deleted messages.

To clear deleted email messages:

1. Click Preferences (gear icon).
2. Click Data Usage
3. Select a folder (or all folders), then click Expunge.
