AgentWebsite Email Sending Limits

Updated Thursday, July 06, 2023

Do not use your AgentWebsite email account for bulk email marketing or email blasts.

To help prevent spam and keep accounts safe, we limit the number of emails you can send or get per day, and the number of people you can add as recipients.

Frequently Answered Questions

  • Is there a file size limit on email attachments?

Sending email attachments larger than 25 MB is not recommended.

  • Is there an outbound limit on the number of email messages that can be sent by a user?

You may email up to 500 email recipients per day via SMTP.

You may email up to 250 email recipients per day via Webmail.

1 email sent to 10 email addresses is considered to be 10 recipients.

You may not send to more than 15 not-existing, misspelled, or disabled recipients per day.

Exceeding these limits will cause your email account to be automatically blocked.

    Additionally, there may be:

    1. No more than100 recipients in an email single outbound message
    2. No more than 30 Yahoo and/or Gmail recipients in a single outbound email message

  • If a user's email account has been blocked, how will they be notified?

If an email account has been blocked, the user will receive a bounceback message, or an error when they attempt to send a message. If the block is permanent due to excessive abuse or the email account has been compromised, email system administrators will send a notification via email.

  • If a user's email account has been blocked, is there a way to determine the cause of the block?

Generally, the cause of the block is contained within an error message or bounce-back. If you are not sure what caused the block, or if you feel that your email account was blocked mistakenly, please contact AgentWebsite Support with the complete error/bounce-back message and the email address of the affected account.

  • Are blocks applied per email user or per domain?

Email system administrators review each issue on a case-by-case basis for each email user. Blocks are applied to email users individually.

  • Can sending unsolicited bulk email affect your other AgentWebsite services?

Yes. For the protection of our users, we take spam seriously. Per the AgentWebsite terms of use: "AgentWebsite will immediately terminate any account which it believes, in its sole discretion, is transmitting or is otherwise connected with any spam or other unsolicited bulk email. You agree to pay AgentWebsite's actual damages, to the extent such actual damages can be reasonably calculated."
