Header images can be cropped on different screens. On very wide screens, the top and bottom may be cut off. On phones, the sides may be cut off.
This cropping happens automatically based on the size of the screen.
The image below shows the safe area. This area will stay visible on screens from small phones (320 pixels wide) up to large 2K monitors (2560 pixels wide).
When creating a header image, use a canvas that is 1920 pixels wide and 624 pixels tall.
The safe area is a 1024 by 340 pixel box centered in the middle of the image, both horizontally and vertically. Keep any important elements inside this safe area.
Very wide 4K ultrawide monitors may crop into the safe area when viewed full screen, but this is rare and usually not a concern.
