Pro IDX + CRM : Enable Texting

Follow these steps to enable automated texting from your CRM.

  1. Log in to the AgentWebsite Control Panel, then click IDX on the top blue bar.
  2. The IDX Control Panel will open in a new tab.
  3. Click Communications  > TextingEnable Texting Now.
  4. In the popup window that is displayed, enter your area code, call forwarding number (in case a lead calls the texting number) and time zone.

    It will take a few business days for your texting number to be registered with message carriers  before texting can begin. We register your texting number in order to keep your messages deliverable and compliant across carriers.
  5. After texting has been enabled, your texting number will be displayed in Control Panel > IDX > Communications > Texting, along with additional options.
  6. Now that texting has been enabled, follow the steps in this article to:

    • Assign existing leads to text or hybrid (email and text) campaigns, and
    • Automatically assign new incoming leads to text or hybrid (email and text) campaigns
